Non-threaded capacitor discharge stud is one type of CD Weld Studs , are used in many applications. They can be used in conjuction with a push-on speed nut for labor and time savings, used as hinge pins, location pins and many other things.

They eliminate the need for drilling, tapping, punching, riveting, gluing and screwing, whilst also having little to no effect on the colouring of the reverse of the sheet metal.
